5th Annual Social Action Conferece

Business Administration Building
University at Albany, SUNY

Workshops will be going on throughout the day in rooms 209, 210, 211, 215, and 216 in the Business Administration Building.

The Social Action Conference is a full day of workshops, discussions, and panels with folks committed to peace and social justice. The conference was started 4 years ago with the hope of fostering deep ties between students, community members and social justice organizations. The event is free and open to the public.

Participating organizations include: Albany Political Prisoner Support Network, Alliance for Quality Education, Amnesty International, Bethlehem Neighbors for Peace, Books for Prisoners, Campus Greens, Capital District Permaculture Guild, Citizen Action, Food not Bombs, Labor-Religion Coalition, New York Communities for Change, New York Prisoner Justice Network, Next Generation United, QueerRising, Save Our SUNY, Syracuse Peace Council, Third World Impact, Women Against War, Working Families Party, Ya-Ya Network.
